According to the Taliban, Turkey plans to construct schools throughout Afghanistan.

The Turkish ambassador in Kabul, Cihad Erginay, has reportedly announced that Turkey will construct schools throughout Afghanistan, as per the Taliban-controlled Bakhtar News Agency. This was discussed during a meeting between the Taliban's education minister and the Turkish ambassador in Kabul. Erginay mentioned that Turkey is already running 45 schools across eight provinces in Afghanistan and has promised to build schools in Helmand and Khost provinces soon. In the previous year, the Taliban's Ministry of Education had announced that the IDF Foundation of Turkey would build religious seminaries in five provinces of Afghanistan. However, it is noteworthy that the Taliban still prohibits the education of girls and women in Afghanistan, and Turkey's pledge to construct new schools comes during this period.
